There was excitement on the farm Saturday! Erica was playing on the yard, when she noticed that bees were literally pouring out of the bee tree in our yard that has housed a feral swarm for the past year. Eric and I both made videos as it was happening. Here is mine. I’ll do a post with Eric’s as soon as I can confiscate his phone and download it!
Unfortunately, the swarm moved on and we weren’t able to capture it, but we have left the hive set up in hopes of luring in a passing swarm in the coming weeks!
