Early November Menu Plan

This is going to be a crazy busy week for us, my calendar looks like a jigsaw puzzle, but I’m committed to having good food on the table, so I’m planning ahead to try to make it all work.  I’ve looked to my “Yummy Food” board on Pinterest for inspiration, so feel free to pin these for yourself!

Menu Plan Nov 4-10 2013

Monday:  Chicken-n-Dumplins (I’m always on the hunt for the perfect chicken and dumplins recipe.  No fake ingredients, no cream of something soup, no Crisco, no “g” on the end of dumplins, etc.  I’m trying this recipe from Trisha Yearwood this week, but I’ll probably sneak some carrots and kale into it when no one is looking!)

Tuesday:  Roasted Chicken with Pioneer Woman’s mac-n-cheese and salad

Wednesday:  Crockpot Mongolian Beef with Brown Rice (I’m literally the WORST crockpot cook in America.  If this works I’ll be jumping for joy!)

Thursday:  Baked Egg Boats with waffle iron hashbrowns

Friday:  Savory Chicken Pockets with salad

Saturday:  Dinner out after Disney on Ice

Sunday:  Clam Chowder
