Peppermint Rosemary Lip Balm

This is a lovely, smooth, cooling lip balm. It feels great on your lips and smells like Bert's Bees!
Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1½ tbsp grated beeswax
  • 12 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 6 drops rosemary essential oil
  • a few drops of vitamin E
Instructions
  1. Melt almond oil, coconut oil and beeswax in a double boiler.
  2. Remove from heat and add essential oils and vitamin E.
  3. Stir well with a disposable spoon.
  4. Pour into tubes or other molds.
  5. Let harden thoroughly before capping.
Notes
If you prefer a harder lip balm you can increase the beeswax content. Also, add shea or cocoa butter if you desire for added creaminess - see the lemon-lime recipe for my take on it!
