Well folks, I had green beans on the menu for last night until I walked into Publix and saw big beautiful heads of Napa cabbage staring at me from the produce department. I just couldn’t resist. I had to fix the Napa salad instead. Judging from the enormous bowl of it I made, and the tiny bit of leftovers I had, everyone else missed it as much as I did! So, here you go, one of our family favorites, and a staple at BBQs and covered dishes.
P.S. I’m trying something new with the leftovers tonight. If it’s good I’ll tell you all about it!

Step away from the food processor! Don’t over think this step! Just rinse the cabbage and run a knife through it. |
I like to mix the dressing in a Mason jar so I can give it a good shake to combine |
Cook the topping until it just starts to brown. |

So have you ever eaten or grown napa cabbage? We had good results growing it one year, but not so much luck since then, and that makes me sad.
