Cheap and Easy Spaghetti Carbonara is a family fave!
This spaghetti carbonara is one of our family’s absolute favorite dinners! We like to serve it with grilled chicken breast or a whole roasted chicken in order to up the protein content of the meal. In fact, I’m writing this post on a day on which we plan to have pasta carbonara for dinner. (We tend to serve this cheap and easy pasta recipe up on Mondays but no one really knows why!)
This is also an excellent dinner to have on busy nights when I have failed to plan because we usually have most of the ingredients for spaghetti carbonara on hand. We tend to eat this especially often in the spring when our chickens are laying tons of eggs! It’s even better with homegrown bacon, but you’ll get no judgment from me if yours came from the store!
This creamy bacon and eggs pasta carbonara recipe is sure to please even the picky eaters in your family! My four-year-old gobbles it up and he tends to turn his wee nose up at most things I serve for supper! If you try the recipe I would love to hear what you think of it!
