Look at me actually posting my menu plan when I mean to! Amazing! I am driving all over town this week to one field trip or another, so I have a lot of quick meals this week! Check out red night though! This is a quick way to have some fun with the kids on Valentine’s day! For the garlic bread, I will split the loaf in half, apply butter and garlic salt, then I will have the kids cut out hearts and then use the leftover paper as a “stencil” to sprinkle paprika over the bread to make red hearts. Try it! It’s fun!
Monday 2/11: Homemade sub sandwiches and chips
Tuesday 2/12: Homegrown orca beans with brown rice and chicken burritos with a store-bought king cake to celebrate Fat Tuesday! (Hey, we can’t be good all the time!)
Wednesday 2/13: BBQ meatloaf, sweet potato puree and creamed kale
Thursday 2/14: RED NIGHT!! Spaghetti & Meatballs, garlic bread with paprika hearts, Sour Cream Pound Cake with homemade strawberry sauce and whipped cream
Friday 2/15: Homemade pizza night
Saturday 2/16: Roast, smashed potatoes, gravy, homegrown (formerly frozen) green beans
Sunday 2/17: Dinner out
May I come dine with you this week? Yummy!
Certainly, but you have to set the table!
